How does Precision Holistic differ from traditional medicine?
Conventional medicine focuses on managing symptoms. Holistic health is an approach that seeks to identify and address the underlying causes conditions rather than merely treating the symptoms. Most of the medical world follows what are referred to as ‘general guidelines’ based on statistics to provide diagnoses and treatments that work for people. In Precision Health, I start with your health story and labs (if purchased) to get a holistic picture of your health. With your results, I review factors unique to you, as well as personalized interventions and combine all of this into a personalized health plan just for you. The state of Oklahoma does not recognize Naturopathic Doctors. I am not a physician and I am operating as a health coach. I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Instead, I target, reverse, and eliminate root causes with a focus on prevention.
How does Precision Holistic differ from other types of Holistic care?
Precision Holistic Health utilizes a genetics-based approach and nutrition therapy to personalize care for each individual. By integrating biometrics, genomics, and lifestyle factors, I tailor health plans to provide unique recommendations for diet, exercise, sleep, mental health, and disease risk reduction. In Precision Health, I can start with your DNA and an extensive lab panel (if purchased) to get a comprehensive picture of what you're dealing with. I believe in a concept called, "Test Don't Guess." I combine all of this into a personalized health plan just for you. I require outcomes that can be measured with science and have measurable qualities, which is in contrast to many Chinese, Ayurvedic, and other alternative health modalities.
What is the 3 x 4 Genetic Test?
Through just a single test, the 3X4 blueprint gives you access to a paradigm-shifting health and wellness tool that will equip you with everything you need to make empowered decisions about your own health. Using your unique genetic map, 25 years of research, and our advanced proprietary AI technology we'll reveal the decisions that have the biggest impact on your health.
The Genetic Test Kit is an at-home saliva test that simply requires you to spit into the supplied tube and package it per the instructions included. We provide a prepaid return label on the back of the box to easily send the kit to the lab. For privacy and security, the kit is specifically assigned to you via barcode, rather than by name. Your information and name are not connected to the testing lab.
Do you address mental health?
I offer comprehensive wellness strategies based on an individual's lifestyle. Part of the holistic approach to your health will be to learn about your mental and spiritual health. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I am a faith-based practitioner. If any clients are in need of Christian prayer, I provide that along with our conversations about physical health. Even though it excludes me from various health networks, I do not participate in practices that are forbidden in scripture. I have partnered with another faith-based wellness practice called, Healing Care House, located in Colorado Springs. If your journey leads you to benefit from mental health counseling, I will refer my clients to my partner at HCH.
Are any supplements included in the consultation price?
